Saving as a Business member

Business members can place up to £35,000 on deposit with the credit union. Deposits will attract the same dividend rate as individual members.

By depositing money with the credit union rather than a High Street lender, funds can be used to offer affordable loans to other members; thereby supporting your local community. All deposits may be withdrawn with 24 hours notice.

Safe and secure with FSCS

Deposits by Business members are fully protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000 providing the organisation meets two or more of the following requirements over a number of years:

1) Turnover less than £6.5 million.

2) Balance sheet total less than £3.26 million.

3) Less than 50 employees.

Further information about FSCS can be found at http://www.fscs.org.uk/ and may be updated

Loans to Business Members

Most categories of business or social enterprise are eligible to be considered for loans up to £25,000 (£15,000 net) provided it is possible to demonstrate the financial soundness of the organisation and the ability to afford repayments.
